Continuing to watch the sun rise, I called my mama to tell her good night. It’s 10:30 p.m. & 53 degrees in Bray, Okla.
It’s now 6:30 a.m. & 75 degrees here.
Cars that were once a light roar in the distance are now on the roads below my balcony. During the work week—Sunday through Thursday—I’m in one of the hundreds of cars on Salwa Road.
But this morning, I feel like a vacationer wearing sweats & eating cereal with chocolate soy milk on my balcony—wondering where the planes have been and where they’re going.
Happy Good Friday from this side of the globe.
